Crestwood High

With local competition growing Crestwood High School desired to inform the local community of their achievements and their unique school programmes. digital Wranglers was commissioned to develop the online strategic direction for the school and a website based around the theme.

Stategic direction

Through a consultative approach with the school project team the strategy was developed on the theme Vision and Progress | Proud to be public

Design

Three unique design concepts were developed with the project team quickly coming to agreement on the design direction. With slight modifications, the design was approved.

Development

CSS templates powered by steercms are the basis for all our developments of this type. This gives Crestwood a streamlined site with the capability to grow due to the strength of the steercms publishing engine.

With a powerful ACL (access control list) it gives the students the ability to create pages and blog enteries with only system authorised users having permission to publish to the internet.

Wranglers has also introduced an online community, available only to registered and approved members. We call this Homework Helper as it creates a knowlege-base and a place for online discussions and learning between all students and teachers.
