Rinker Group Limited
Rinker Group Limited (Rinker) is a focused heavy building materials company - one of the worlds top 10 - comprising Rinker Materials Corporation in the US and the Readymix and Humes businesses in Australia and Asia.
Rinker produces a newsletter for shareholders and employees three times a year. Faced with a highly detailed newsletter, they realised that only in a well designed format would the information reach readers.
The Design
By investigating the intended function and audience of the newsletter, the designers at digital Wranglers began to build a designed newsletter, which would not only act as a housing for content, but adequately convey the professionalism Rinker is so proud of. Reminiscent of a modern and colourful newspaper design it forms a contemporary style for the Rinker group.
The Result
The result of this project was a design which works. Not only did Rinker love this design, they have also asked digital Wranglers manage all future issues.
Ongoing work involves layout and supplied artwork for the newsletter that has a print run of 22 000 and is distributed to their US, Australian, and Asian operations. In addition Wranglers provide a web version that is produced in the style of the printed version.
